Sopp + Sopp renews long term approval of PPG and NEXA AUTOCOLOR® brands for CV repairer network

Sopp + Sopp, the UK's most successful commercial vehicle accident and project management provider are pleased to announce the renewal of an exclusive paint partner agreement with PPG Refinish UK; the UK's market leading paint manufacturer.

This continued partnership agreement builds on PPG's strong working relationships with Sopp + Sopp's repairer network; and confirms PPG and NEXA AUTOCOLOR® as the officially recommended paint brands for their commercial vehicle repair network which aligns closely with the PPG FLEETWATCH® network.

Since 2010 Sopp + Sopp and PPG have worked closely together to develop the UK's leading fully managed commercial vehicle repair network offering a full range of accident repair and refinishing solutions.

The renewed agreement sees further alignment of the PPG FLEETWATCH® and Sopp + Sopp repairer network to provide delivery of a national approach to commercial vehicle accident repairs and livery maintenance services. This is underpinned by the product and technical expertise of PPG and the total accident management solution delivered by Sopp + Sopp; to provide a best in class service in accident repair, Paint Specification, Fleet Livery Management and total accident management services delivered through an approved national network of quality repairers.

Jamie Sopp, Managing Director Sopp + Sopp comments on the renewal.

"Sopp + Sopp and PPG share the same values and goals. Putting our customers first is a priority for both companies and our partnership has gone from strength to strength. PPG's ability to supply first class refinish products supported by excellent technical service to our network helps to ensure that we deliver high quality repairs whilst minimising off road time.

Our aim is to continue to strengthen the PPG FleetWatch and Sopp + Sopp proposition as the premier network of commercial vehicle repairers in the UK."

Alan Selby, PPG Refinish UK Commercial Transport Business Manager added,

"I am personally delighted that Sopp + Sopp have chosen to renew the PPG and NEXA AUTOCOLOR® approvals.  We have ambitious plans for the future and are looking forward to working closely with Jamie and the team to ensure the PPG and Sopp + Sopp FleetWatch network is the preferred choice for commercial vehicle repair, livery, and accident management services"

Together, Sopp + Sopp and PPG provide the UK’s commercial vehicle fleets with a unique, tailor made solution to maximize vehicle throughput and reduce repair costs. Sopp + Sopp and PPG through the  FleetWatch network are proud to have placed over 10,000 commercial vehicle jobs with a value of approximately £15M into the commercial vehicle repair sector over the last 12 months.
