This ‘meet the team’ segment is focusing on Colin Clarke, whose current role is CT Key account manager Southwest & Midlands, means he makes a substantial contribution to the CT business.
Colin began working as an apprentice within a car and commercial paintshop, and worked his way up to being a paintshop foreman. In 1996, he joined MAXMEYER® as a Car, CT & LIC technical demonstrator for the Southwest and South developing MaxMeyer, SELEMIX® and ABF brands. When PPG acquired MaxMeyer, in 1997, Colin moved to a sales technical role, where he was responsible for sales growth, focusing on distribution and Bodyshop growth. In 2004, Colin joined the PPG CT team as technical sales for the southern region and progressed to CT Key account manager for the Southwest & Midlands.
Within the role of CT Key account manager Colin covers the South region and seeks opportunities with Fleets to develop paint and livery specifications, works with colleagues to promote Fleet Livery Management, works with Fleetwatch customers and bodybuilders to develop fleet opportunities and provides technical advice to Bodyshops for maximising product and process performance to help customer’s profitability.
